Easter and a Baptism

This weekend was such a lovely one.Yesterday Walmir and I drove down to his sister Sandra's house to celebrate our niece Katelyn's eighth birthday and baptism. The event was spiritual, beautiful and Katelyn looked so sweet in her little white dress. It was such a joyous occasion, especially with so many friends and family there.

This morning was just as endearing as we watched three little ones excitedly run around the yard picking up the brightly colored eggs that the Easter bunny had left behind while the youngest sat in the dew covered grass and simply chewed on the handful of eggs that the other three brought him. The entire event was simply adorable. The rest of the day was spent with family, remembering the meaning behind this joyous holiday as we enjoyed each other's company. It truly was a beautiful weekend.
